Hello, this is Yujia!
I'm a 3D Technical Artist with a passion for 3D designing, modeling, texturing, rigging, animating, game programming, and game designing..
I studied 3D Digital Design at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where I gained a strong foundation in 3D modeling techniques. During my time there, I independently completed two game environments, "Suzhou Garden VR Tour" and "The Village," with 90% of the art assets designed and modeled by myself. Inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and my project experiences with Unreal Engine, I pursued game design at the University of Southern California, focusing on mastering the game art pipeline.
As a 3D Technical Artist, I have worked on projects such as Angler Maury, a mobile AR game, where I designed, modeled, textured, rigged, animated, and programmed the game's main character using Maya, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and Unity. I also contributed to USC Games as a 3D artist, creating high-definition 3D assets with a consistent art style for the VR puzzle game Penrose Station. Additionally, I rigged and created 3D animations for the main NPC character in the VR game Neon City.
I am dedicated to staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure my work remains innovative. Through this website, I aim to share my knowledge, experiences, and creative projects with fellow enthusiasts, aspiring artists, and potential collaborators.
Join me on this exciting journey of 3D art and game design. Thank you for visiting!
